Hey, it’s Coach Henri.
When I was growing up, there was zero sports science support. Nobody talked about training like a proper athlete. I was just guessing my way through gym sessions, doing random exercises, and hoping they worked.

Sound familiar?
What I really needed was to understand the "why". Why certain exercises mattered, how to train smarter, and how to avoid wasting time or getting hurt.
​
That search led me to complete my Master’s in Sport Science and work with national-team players, UEFA-level footballers, and NPL athletes in Australia. Along the way, I learned what elite clubs do (and sometimes what they should be doing). I understand the science behind their methods — how they program, why they do it, and when.
​
And here’s the thing.
You shouldn’t have to figure this out on your own. Too many players guess their training, hold back out of fear of injury, or waste time on flashy exercises that don’t actually improve performance.

The right knowledge shouldn’t be locked away in academies or buried in textbooks. Every player deserves access to training that actually works.

Why this training matters:

Football is behind. Rugby and American football have used proper strength and conditioning for decades. Football is still catching up.

Forces matter. Every sprint, jump, and change of direction puts several times your bodyweight through your muscles and joints. Without strength, injury risk skyrockets.
